Khartoum, Feb 2 (SUNA) – The Acting Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Ambassador, Abdalla Omer Basher met, today, in his office, the British Ambassador to Sudan Giles Lever.
The meeting discussed the overall the current political situations and regional and international initiatives aimed at realization of consensus to overcome the political crisis in the country.
Ambassador Abdalla underscored the key role that can be played by friends of Sudan to facilitate dialogue among the Sudanese parties, lauding the role of the UK to make a success the efforts of the Sudanese Revolution and its support to Sudan to boost the transitional period for holding free and fair elections that will pave the way for firm democratic system.
