Abu Dhabi, May 10(SUNA)-ThE President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC), Gen. Abdul- Fattah Al Burhan and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed relations between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi in various domains and in way that serves interest of the two sisterly people.
The two sides reviewed during a meeting which was held at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi Sunday in presence of the delegations of the two countries issues and files of the common concern and exchanged views over them, particularly investment opportunities and projects of which UAE could invest in them..
Al Burhan praised the huge support the UAE provided to Sudan to confront challenges of the transitional period , particularly health assistance for addressing COVID-19 and in other areas.
Al Burhan expressed hoped that the UAE continues its positive role in supporting the Sudanese people in the coming period.
The meeting also reviewed developments of situations along Sudan’s eastern borders with Ethiopia in addition to issue of Renaissance Dam where President Al Burhan affirmed necessity of continuation of negotiation for reaching binding agreements regarding matters of the filling and operation of the Dam.
