Khartoum, Sept.23 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has met, at his office, the High Representative of the President of the African Union Commission for the Horn of Africa Affairs, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The AU official pointed out in press statements that his visit to Sudan, on this time, comes in the context of carrying out consultations with the Prime Minister and the TSC President considering that Sudan is an important AU and IGAD member.
“Sudan plays important role in strengthening security, realizing of peace and stability and political dialogue in the Horn of Africa” Obsanjo said.
