The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and General Commander of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed the Armed Forces’ commitment to remain the protector of the people and their interests, while lauding the role es of the martyrs of the homeland and the revolution.
Addressing the celebration of the civil society to the 67th anniversary of the Armed Forces at the General Command on Wednesday, Gen. Al-Burhan stressed that the Armed Forces is an integral part of the Sudanese people.
The celebration was attended by members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, ministers, senior officers of the Armed Forces, leaders of the political work and the civil society and Islamic and Christian religious men.
He praised the civilian and military pioneers who established many partnerships following the Independence, and thanked those who extended support of the Armed forces in Fashqa area.
