Khartoum, Dec. 7 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has got acquainted with outcome of visit of the delegation of Abyei Joint Oversight Committee to the area.
This came when Al-Burhan met today at his office in the Republican Palace with the Chairperson of Abyei Joint Oversight Committee, Maj. Gen. (engineer) Mohamed Alawi Koko, who explained in a press statement that he briefed the President of TSC on the overall political, security and administrative conditions in the area.
He indicated that the visit was an opportunity to visit villages in the area to see the work of government institutions and service facilities in Abyei area.
He pointed out that the year 2022 will witness development in the services provided to citizens, especially in terms of providing basic needs and achieving security and stability for the citizens of Abyei.
