Khartoum, May 16 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, left today on a three-day visit to France, during which he is to participate in Paris conference on supporting democratic transition in Sudan.
Al-Burhan was seen off at Khartoum Airport by TSC Member Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Khalid Ali Yusuf and TSC Secretary General Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali.
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council will address the conference, which is to be attended by the French President besides a number of other heads of state and government and regional and international organizations.
Al-Burhan will also hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the conference.
The Paris conference will also be attended besides Al-Burhan by Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi and a number of other senior government officials.
