Khartoum, Aug 1 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen, Abdel Fattah l-Burhan , on Sunday, affirmed that Sudan looks forward to establishing normal relations with US to realize the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
Al-Burhan who received the visiting the USAID Administrator, Samantha Power and the accompanied delegation, at the Republican Palace, in the presence of the US Charge d’ Affairs called on the US to extend support to Sudan to make a success the Transitional period and holding of a transparent election that strengthens democracy in Sudan, expressing the country’s appreciation to US support during the past period.
The TSC President stressed Sudan’s keenness and readiness to open pathways to deliver humanitarian support to all refugees in the camps.
The USAID official, on her part, expressed her country’s keenness for doing justice and extending of assistances to Sudan in all fields.
