Khartoum, June 19 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’aeyshi, has affirmed the council’s readiness to mobilize all the official and people’s efforts to boost the peaceful co-existence and to solve the tribal dispute between Fallata and Ta’ayesha tribes.
This came when he received Saturday at the Republican Palace a delegation of Fallata tribe, as part of the ongoing efforts for reconciliation between Ta’ayesha and Fallata tribes.
In a press statement, head of the delegation, Gen. (police) Bahr-Eddin Abdalla Ali, said that the meeting dealt with the ongoing efforts to resolve the dispute between the two tribes, stressing the readiness of Fallata to put an end to these disputes and to address all the issues related to enhancing the peaceful coexistence between tribes and to support all the initiatives and efforts aimed at achieving peace, pointing to the continuation of meetings between the two parties until this problem is solved.
He stressed the importance of the movement of a joint delegation from the two tribes as soon as possible to the dispute, areas under the auspices of the member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’aeyshi, to address the root causes of the problem.
The delegation of Fallata tribe expressed its support to the initiative presented by the Wali (governor) f South Darfur State and the efforts of the committee that he set to contain the dispute between the two tribes.
