Khartoum, Oct. 5 (SUNA) – The Permanent Representative of Sudan to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Ambassador Ali Ibn Abi Talib Abdelrahman, has presented Sudan’s address to the opening session of the conference of Assemblies of the Member States of the Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which is held there during the period October 4-8.
A Sudanese delegation headed by Registrar General of the Intellectual Property, Ms. Iman Atabani, participates in the conference.
The statement reviewed Sudan’s efforts to raise public awareness on aspects of the intellectual property, commending the role being assumed by the office of the Registrar General of the Intellectual Property to develop the intellectual property in Sudan.
