Cairo, Mar 17 (SUNA) – The Army Chief of Staff, Lt-General Mohammed Osman Al-Hussein met here yesterday, Wednesday, his Egyptian counterpart General Osama Asaker in the context of the activities of 8th meeting of the Sudanese-Egyptian Military Committee which held in Cairo.
The meeting reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern and the spheres of cooperation between the two countries.
The concluding session co-chaired by the Sudanese and Egyptian chiefs of staff focused on the support of the military cooperation and exchange of experience between the armies in the two countries.
The Egyptian Army Chief of Staff affirmed that the two sides shared identical viewpoints, expressing hope that the next stage will witness more cooperation in all fields.
Lt-General Al-Hussein stressed the necessity for joint work to guarantee security and stability in the region.
