Khartoum, Dec. 15 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abul-Gasim Mohamed Ahmed Bortum, received in his office at the Republican Palace a delegation of the committee for the horticultural sector’s services and the southern electricity power line in Kassala city and reviewed the challenges facing the cultivation and farmers at the area, especially the lifting of subsidy from fuel.
The delegation’s member, Murad Osman Kambal, indicated that the Sovereignty Council’s member has affirmed his support to the cultivation and famers, especially at the horticultural sector and promised to contact with all the concerned authorities to solve the obstacles facing the horticultural sector, especially that Kassala is one of major horticultural production areas in the country and supporting to the production and the national economy.
