Cabinet receives briefing on progress of Juba negotiations
Khartoum, June 8 (SUNA) – The Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk with the participation of some ministers from Juba, through the video conference.
The cabinet started its meeting by briefing on the progress of the ongoing negotiations between the government and the SPLM/N delegations presented by the Cabinet Affairs Minister, the Government delegation Official Spokesman, Engineer, Khaled Omer Yousef who pointed out to the continuation of the negotiation after a week suspension
“A committee comprising the parties to the negotiation was to submit proposals on the disputed issues”. He said.
The Council of Ministers stressed the importance of concluding the framework agreement and deferring the issues of contention to be discussed at the stage of the detailed issues.
