Khartoum, Aug. 3 (SUNA)-Central Bank of Sudan Governor, Mohamed Al-Fatih Abdeen received ,on Tuesday morning at his office in the bank premises Mr. Andrew Torre, the Regional President for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) at Visa.
The meeting discussed the importance of cooperation between the CBOS and Visa Company concerning electronic payment.
The two parties also touched on enhancing means of cooperation between the working banks and Visa Company in order to contribute in building and developing the payment operation.
During the meeting the governor was briefed on the nature of services provided by Visa Company and their positive impacts on the economy.
The Governor on his part affirmed the importance of partnership with Visa Company saying this is considered a good indicator that we are proceeding on the right track to use global digital payment system. and that he said would assist us in the process of expanding financial system.”
