Khartoum, Feb.2(SUNA)-Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC) and Chairman of the Health Emergency Committee Dr Abdel Bagi Abdel Gadir has called on all categories of the society to commit to health precautions and the social distancing and to take the vaccination dose of COVID-19.
He pointed out that the available coronavirus vaccine was safe and its is the best one.
Dr Abdel Bagi, who was speaking at Press Forum of Sudan News Agency(SUNA) today, said that the country’s health is at stake, and we must adjust our behavior to cross to safety, stressing the need to assist the concerned authorities in the success of their work, by adhering to health precautions, in terms of the fact that the statistics about the Corona pandemic are now frightening and dangerous.
He commended the third anti-coronavirus campaign and said it achieved unprecedented success , saying it should be repeated monthly.
Abdel-Baqi also called on the media to intensify awareness of spreading correct information and fighting rumours, as well as imams of mosques to reduce Friday sermons and not to lengthen prayers.
