Merowe, Apr.4 (SUNA) – The Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Army , Lt. Gen. Mohamed Fareed Hejazi, has reiterated stand of the Egyptian Armed Forces alongside the Sudanese Army.
Addressing the conclusion of the Drill of the Nile Eagles (2) at Gen. Awad Khalafalla Air Base in Merowe area, the Chief of Staff of Egyptian Army underlined importance of joint work to confront the joint challenges for security, and safety of borders and protection of the capabilities.
He added that Drills of Nile Eagles come within framework of cooperation between the Sudanese and the Egyptian Armed Forces , but, he said, it is strategic for joint military cooperation for boosting security of the two countries.
Lt. Gen. Hejazi conveyed greetings of the President of Egypt, Abdul Fattah Al Sisi, to the Sudanese Armed Forces and appreciation to pilots and technical cadres from forces of the two countries participating in the drills , calling for continue efforts and sacrifices for sake of protection of the homeland.
Lt.Gen. Hejazi renewed call for speeding up implementation of the coming version of the drill to complete the system of exchange of expertise for preserving the national security of the two countries.
