Council of Ministers Appreciates Foreign Ministry Efforts on Renaissance Dam Issue 

Khartoum, June 19 (SUNA) – The Council of Ministers has praised in its meeting (18) for the year 2021 the distinguished diplomatic efforts made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and her accompanying delegation in informing brothers and friends in African countries about Sudan position on the Renaissance Dam negotiations and the border dispute with Ethiopia, during her visits to a number of African states.

The Cabinet Affairs Minister, Khalid Omer Yousif, has conveyed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mariam Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, the Cabinet’s appreciation to convey it to the employees at the ministry ad members of the delegation.

It is to be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by the minister Dr. Mariam Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, is exerting great efforts to strengthen the diplomatic relations with the countries in the world and the region, within the framework of Sudan openness to the world, especially Africa, toward promoting the level of joint cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, a matter which was evident in the extensive diplomatic campaign led by the minister in east and west African countries to explain the position Sudan regarding the Renaissance Dam negotiations.
