Khartoum, Dec. 28 (SUNA) – The court trying plotters of June 30, 1989 coup has adjourned sessions to January 11, to decide on two pleas from the defense, the first of which is related to release of the defendants on bail for the length of their stay in detention, and the second is to prevent lawyers from outside the Attorney General Chamber to appear before the court as supporters of the prosecution panel.
The prosecution committee rejected in its comment at today’s session of the court, headed by Supreme Court Judge Hussein Al-Jack, the defense request.
