Khartoum, Aug.25(SUNA)-Minister of Trade and Supply, Ali Jedo has issued decisions on re-opening trade exchange crossing poinnts with the Republic of South Sudan.
He said the step came as implementation of the decision adopted by the Council of Ministers.
The Minister issued a decision forming a Technical Committee to be chaired by the Undersecretary of Ministry of Trade and Supply, Naddr Al Reyh and comprising representatives of the relevant ministries to make the necessary arrangements for re-opening the trade exchange points between Sudan and the Republic of the South Sudan and to pay a field visit to Al Jebelain crossing to get acquainted with the necessary preparations for opening the crossing.
The Minister pointed out that the decision of opening the trade exchange points with the Republic of South Sudan officially begins through customs clearance points of Al –Jebelain-Al Rank,Al Mairam-Anjok, Buram-Tomsah and Kharasana-Bankweg. .
Jedo indicated to desire of the two countries to boost the border trade exchange to consolidate the economic ties between the two countries and finding new strategies on boosting and expanding cooperation in the areas of economy, trade and supply.
