Port- Sudan, Sep. 26(SUNA)-The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi on Sunday arrived in the capital of the Red Sea State, Port-Sudan city heading a high-level delegation from the federal government.
The delegation comprises Minister of Interior, Gen.(police) Izz-Eddin Al Sheikh Mansour, Minister of Foreign Affairs , Dr Mariam Al Sadiq Al Mahdi, Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Gadain Ali Ebaid and Minister of Transport, Engineer Mirghani Musa Hamad.
The delegation was received at Port-Sudan airport by Wali of the Red Sea, Engineer Abdalla Shangarai, members of the State security Committee and commanders of the military units in the State.
The visit , which will last for two days, came within framework of initiative for resolution of the crisis which erupted recently in the east of the country in the wake of public mobilization led by the Supreme Council of Bega Chieftains in which vital facilities have been shut down and that resulted in negative impact on the overall economic situations in the country.
The visit program of the member of the TSC and his accompanied delegation to the Red Sea State will include holding a series of meetings with the State Security Committee and Council of Beja Chieftains.
