Dr. Hamdouk and Salva Kiir review issues of mutual concern 

Juba, May 25 (SUNA) – The President of the Republic of South Sudan, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit received, at his office, today, the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk who arrived in Juba to participate in the kicking off the negotiations with the People’s Movement/North led by Abdel Aziz Al-Hilo in the presence of the Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi and her South Sudanese counterpart, Benjamin Barnaba.

The Foreign Minister said in a press statement that the meeting discussed the joint relations between the two countries, the issues of mutual interest and the formation of a joint committee to strengthen the relations between Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan.

“Dr. Hamadouk, onhis capacity as the Chairman of the IGAD’s current session, will participate today,  in a workshop concerning the establishment of a permanent constitution for South Sudan” the minister added.
