Khartoum, Oct 7 (SUNA) – Transitional Prime Minister, Dr., Abdalla Hamdouk met, Wednesday evening, at his residence, a delegation representing the Central Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) in the context of the his efforts to find solutions for the challenges and the crisis facing the transition process.
Dr. Hamdouk briefed the FFC delegation on t he outcome of his meetings with the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the members of the military components on the current issues.
The FC delegation was also, briefed on the meeting of the Ministerial Committee chaired by Dr. Hamdouk with the TSC President to discuss East Sudan Issue amid the escalating tensions between the civilian and military components.
The FFC Central Council expressed its commitment to the partnership according to the Constitutional Document, expressing desire to expand the EEC base to include all the stakeholders of the civil democratic transition.
The FFC, further, welcomed the efforts being exerted by Dr. Hamdouk, in this connection, including his communications with Justice and Equality and Sudan Liberation movements.
Concerning the situation in Eastern Sudan, the meeting admitted the existence of an issue for the people of eastern Sudan that must be dealt with seriously.
