Khartoum, Aug 3 (SUNA) – Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk received, Tuesday, at his office, The Regional President of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mr. Andrew Torre (CEMEA) at Visa and the accompanied delegation.
Dr. Hamdouk, during the meeting, affirmed that educing the use of liquidity in the Sudanese economy is one of the priorities of the transitional government, explaining that the Visa company cooperation with Sudan constitutes practical step to benefit from the openness and the economic integration with the world, announcing Sudan openness towards the US leading payment company to realize the joint interest.
Visa Regional President expressed pleasure over visiting Sudan for the first time in the context of a field visit following the COVID-19 Pandemic, affirming the company’s commitment to support Sudan.
He underlined that the company started understandings with the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank of Sudan to cooperate in the electronic payment system.
