Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim has affirmed the necessity for strengthening the bilateral relations and exchange of mutual interest between Sudan and Egypt.
Dr. Ibrahim who met, his Egyptian counterpart, on the side line of his current visit to Cairo, affirmed that the successes realized in any country would have positive impact on the other.
He pointed out that he reviewed with the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation the relation with the regional and international institutions in dealing with Debt-Heavily Indebted Countries Program and how to address Sudan’s debt problem.
“The Ministers of Finance of the two countries discussed Egypt’s support to Paris Conference on Sudan, scheduled for next, May” Dr. Jibril stressed.
