Khartoum, Jan 30 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Siovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Salma Abdel Jabar Al-Muarak has lauded the developments of the Sudanese-Nigerian relations at official and popular levels.
This came when the TSC Member met, today, in the Republican Palace, the Nigerian Ambassador to Khartoum Safiu Olukayode Olaniyan, affirming Sudan’s keenness to strengthen its relations with Nigeria and develop spheres of joint cooperation in all fields.
The Nigerian diplomat, on his part, said in press statement that the meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Khartoum and Abuja and means foe developing them further to serve the interests of the people of the two countries.
The Ambassador affirmed his country’s support the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue to reach a consensus on the current issues, describing his country’s relation with Sudan as strategic.
