Khartoum, Jan. 25 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak has stressed the need to pay attention to youth projects and programs, noting their leading role in the country’s development and stability.
Head of the Civil Society Organizations Initiative Ahmed Mohamed Rahmatullah said in a press statement after the initiative’s delegation met the TSC Member at the Republican Palace today that he presented a briefing on the organizations’ plans and programs during the coming period and their role towards youth.
He noted that the TSC member praised the pioneering role that the organizations have been playing to address current issues, pointing to directives made by the TSC member to enable the organizations to play their role and enlighten the youth on developments in the country, in addition to sponsoring their projects, especially in the rural areas.
