Khartoum, Oct. 12 (SUNA)-Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Jibril Ibrahim has commended the strong relations linking Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in all fields.
This came when the Minister received today at his office UAE Ambassador to Khartoum Mohamed Humaid Al Junaibi. Dr. Jibril pointed out that the meeting held in order to activate and revitalize economic, technical and financial cooperation between Sudan and the UAE in economic, investment and humanitarian fields.
The Minister hailed the embassy’s role in providing initiatives that aim at boosting security and stability in the country and pushing the development process forward to achieve prosperity for the Sudanese people.
The UAE Ambassador, on his part, affirmed his country’s support to Sudan in all humanitarian, political and development spheres besides provision of assistance to combat COVID-19 pandemic, praising the strong relations between the two countries. The two sides underscored developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries through a memorandum of understanding that is to be signed soon on technical and financial cooperation.
