Khartoum, Sep. 13 (SUNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mariam Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, received at her office on Monday the Ambassador of Spain to Sudan, Alberto Ucelay on the occasion of the expiry of his assignment to Sudan.
The minister has appreciated the efforts exerted by the Ambassador of Spain in strengthening the relations between the two countries, appreciating progress of the bilateral relations.
The Ambassador of Spain has thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the ministry’s staff for their continuous cooperation with his embassy and easing his mission.
He expressed the readiness of his country to continue participation in the meetings of the joint political consultation committees of the two countries.
The Ambassador of Spain also expressed his appreciation of witnessing the great political transformation that the country has achieved.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs has thanked the government of the Kingdom of Spain for its cooperation with Sudan in various fields, and wished success for the ambassador.
