Foreign Ministry denies it commented on US Treasury’s decision
Khartoum, March 22 (SUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied, in an official statement today, denied what was circulated by some social media platforms yesterday, Monday, March 21, 2022, of a report that was described as a comment attributed to the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, about decision of the US Treasury imposing sanctions on the central reserve police forces in Sudan, describing the report as totally fabricated.
The statement said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically deny the authenticity of this report and for the Minister to have made any statement on this subject in any forum or to any media, bearing in mind that the party that fabricated this false news could not attribute it to any source.
