Government of N. Kordofan State Praises the Army Sacrifices 

Obied, Dec.1(SUNA)-The Acting  Secretary-General of Government of North Kordofan State, Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Karim, saluted  sacrifices of the Armed Forces  and victories  the Army have made.

 This came  during his visit to the  Fifth Infantry Division HQs in Obied today.

The Secretary-General of  Government of North Kordofan State  extended   condolences to Commander of the Fifth Infantry Division  over  martyrs  of the  duty and the homeland from members  of the Armed Forces affliated  to  the division  who martyred at Al Fashaqa area in east Sudan.

 He had mercy on the martyrs and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, praising the great sacrifices of the Sudanese army, and said that we are confident in the capabilities of the Armed Forces to protect the country and its territory from foreign ambition

Abdul-Karim commended the considerable role of the Fifth Infantry Division  in maintaining security , stability  and peace  across the State, adding that the State government would work for removal of obstacles  hindering performance of  security services.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Faisal Mohamed al-Hassan Salih, Commander of the Fifth Infantry Division, expressed his thanks for the visit of the Secretary-General of the Government and his condolences to the martyrs from the armed forces and the division’s members , and explained that this visit represented an incentive and a morale booster.

Maj. Gen. said that the Armed Forces Would  continue to stick  to  their commitment to defend the homeland and its territory

  He also affirmed the Division ‘s cooperation with the State Government and  supporting  the activities being carried out by the State.
