Al-Fasher, June 12 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and leader of the Alliance of Sudan Liberation Forces Movement, Al-Tahir Hajar, Friday evening arrived in Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State.
He was received at the entrance of Al-Fasher city by the Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Arabi, the Commander of the Sixth Division, representative of the Rapid Support Forces, Chairman of the state’s Judiciary, Director of the Intelligence and Security Service and Deputy Director of the Police Forces in North Darfur State.
In a statement to SUNA, Hajar said that by his 20-day visit to the five states of Darfur he aims to be informed on the security, political and economic conditions in these states, in his capacity as an official in the transitional period government.
He announced that his visit will later extend to other states in the country.
During his visit to Al-Fasher city, Hajar inspected the Children Hospital.
