Khartoum, Sep. 27 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, received on Sunday a delegation of the native administration leaders of South Darfur State.
The delegation affirmed its condemnation of the failed coup attempt and asserted its support for the democratic transformation process in the country and the transitional government.
The delegation members have expressed their satisfaction over the performance of the current Wali (governor) of South Darfur State, Musa Mahdi, and his government.
They assured the unrecorded stability of the security situation in the state and easiness of the movement in all parts in the state.
The affirmed success of the agricultural season which is expected to yield a high productivity.
The delegation has forwarded to the Prime Minister demands related to improvement of the conditions of the Police Forces in South Darfur State and supplying them with equipment and machinery.
The Prime Minister has appreciated the delegation’s support to the transitional government and their efforts to bolstering the social fabric and achieving peaceful solution for disputes.
He announced his pledge to support the efforts of South Darfur State for realizing security and stability.
