Khartoum, June 9 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister and current chairman of the IGAD, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, has stressed the importance of solution to the issues of displaced persons and refugees in implementing the peace agreements of both Sudan and South Sudan.
This came during his meeting Wednesday with the special envoy of the High Commissioner of Refugees for the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Mohamed Eidi Affi.
Dr. Hamdouk stressed that Sudan will exert utmost, through its current chairmanship of the IGAD, to make a success the sustainable solutions’ initiative for the issues of the displaced persons, refugees, returnees and the hosting communities in Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan.
