Khartoum, Sept. 16 (SUNA)- Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk received at his office here today the visiting Director of East and Central Africa Department at the United Kingdom’s (UK) Foreign Office, Ambassador Simon Mustard, in the presence of Cabinet Affairs Minister Engneer Khalid Omer Yusuf, Advisor of the Prime Minister on International Partnerships Omer Gammar-Eddin and the Charge d’Affaires of UK Embassy in Khartoum, Ms. Louise Walker.
The meeting tackled the developed Sudanese-British relations and Sudan’s ties with the states of the Troika group besides start of the strategic dialogue between the Sudan and UK, scheduled for next month in Khartoum. The meeting also discussed the forthcoming Climate Change Conference in Scotland, where the Prime Minister affirmed in this connection acceptance of the invitation extended to him by his UK counterpart to attend the conference.
