Khartoum, May 29 (SUNA) – The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Ms. Fatou Bensouda, arrived in Khartoum on Saturday on a week-long visit during which she will hold a number of meetings with senior officials in the country and is expected to visit the states of Darfur.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) concluded on Thursday in The Hague sittings for confirming the charges against Ali Mohamed Ali Abdul-Rahman Kosheib, who is accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur region during the period 2003-2004.
The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court visited Khartoum by the end of last year and discussed ways of cooperation between the ICC and Sudan government.
