Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Chairman of the Revolutionary Front Dr. Al-Hadi Idriss has stressed importance of expediting implementation of the security arrangements articles according to the provisions of Juba agreement on peace in Sudan.
Speaking at the regular Press Forum of Sudan News Agency (SUNA) today, Dr. Idriss said in his first meeting with the media persons after he assumed the post of TSC member that implementation of the security arrangements would curb instances of security breaches through participation of forces of the factions of Juba peace in the joint force that comprises the Armed Forces, Police and Rapid Support Forces to back its efforts in maintaining security and stability.
The TSC member vowed that the signatory factions of Juba peace agreement will deal decisively with some armed persons who claim falsely they were part of the group of the peace agreement.
He explained the objectives of their extensive tour to a number of the states of Sudan covered five axes including explaining the provisions of the peace agreement, inspecting the security situations, the issues of lands, and the transitional justice.
He noted that the families of the victims called at all areas they visited for bringing perpetrates of the crimes to accountability by handing them over to the International Criminal Court.
Dr. Idriss affirmed that they felt wide support to Juba peace agreement among the citizens.
The TSC Member disclosed that the coming period would witness convening the system of rule conference, indicating that all past experiences affirm that the best system of government for Sudan is the federal one.
