Khartoum, June 7 (SUNA) – The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Dr. Workenh Gebeyehu arrived, Monday in the country.
Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi received the IGAD’s official in her office to review his visit program which includes high-level meetings with the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla HJamdouk and the Foreign Minister, the Chairperson of the organization’s Ministerial Council to discuss the regional issues of mutual interest.
Dr. Mariam welcomed the IGAD’s official, lauding the important role being played by the organization concerning development, peace, stability and security in the region.
