Juba, May 25 (SUNA) – The Members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Shams Edeen Kabashi and Mohammed Hassan Al-Tayshi arrived, today, in Juba, the capital of the Republic of South Sudan to participate in the negotiation with the People’s Movement led by Abdel aziz Al-Hilo scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday.
The TSC Members received, at the airport, by the Adv sor of the President of South Sudan for Security Affairs, Chairman of the South Sudan Mediation Committee, Dr. Dhieu Mathok.
Gen. Kabashi will lead the delegation of the Transitional Government to the south Sudan-sponsored round of negotiation with Al-Hilo Faction.
Dhieu announced in press statements the completion of all the arrangements for the start of the opening negotiation session which will be addressed by the TSC President, Gen Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of South Sudan, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardi, PrimeMinister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk and the Chairman of South Sudan Mediation Committee,Tut Galwak.
The South Sudan official underlined that following the inaugural session the parties will embark on the two-week negotiation, adding that People’s Movement will present a framework paper including a number of economic, political and security issues.
He expressed hope that the parties will reach durable peace.
