Juba, May 26 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and head of the government delegation for the negotiation in Juba with the delegation of the People’s Movement – North, Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, pointed out that the delegation came with a sincere will and firm desire to negotiate with the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – North led by Abdul-Aziz Al-Hilo.
During his meeting Wednesday with the US envoy for Sudan, Donald Booth, Gen. Kabbashi said that the declaration of Principles agreement signed last March will be an impetus for facilitating the process of negotiation and reaching a just peace.
On his part, Donald Booth affirmed his government readiness to push and urge the two parties to reach a just peace that achieves stability in Sudan and meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
