Khartoum, Mar 22 (SUNA) – The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt-General Shamsedeen Kabbashi has lauded the Qatari stances supporting Sudan in all fields, specially, Darfur peace and its efforts aimed at realization of the national consensus to achieve the democratic transition in the country.
The TSC Member who met, today at the Republican Palace the Qatari Ambassador to Sudan, Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi, renewed the country’s keenness to strengthen its bilateral relations with the State of Qatar.
Lt-General Kabbashi briefed the Qatari diplomat on the overall situations in Sudan and the efforts exerted to make a success the national consensus process through the comprehensive dialogue.
The meeting assured the importance of reactivation of the Joint Ministerial Committee, strengthening of joint investment and the promotion of relations for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
The Qatari ambassador his country’s support to Sudan in all fields.
