El Geneina, Dec. 1 (SUNA) – Wali (governor) of West Darfur State Khamis Abdalla Abakar has stressed the role of the judiciary in maintaining the rule of law.
This came when the governor paid a visit today to premises of the head-office of the judiciary in the state.
The governor expressed his unlimited support for the judicial organs to assume their full role in establishing the values of justice among the components of the society and controlling crimes, in coordination with the regular agencies.
For his part, the head of the judiciary in the state, Hon. Al-Jaili Babiker Ahmed, presented a briefing on progress of performance and challenges facing the judiciary, stressing readiness of the judicial organs to maintain the rule of law.
