Khartoum, Sep.19(SUNA)-Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Jibreil Ibrahim, met at the premises of the Ministry Sunday a Kuwaiti delegation to follow up agreement on how state of Kuwait could contribute to relief of the country’s debts according tothe Heavily Indebted Poor Countries(HIPC) initiative , which Sudan has joined it recently.
The Head of the delegation and Deputy- Director of Operations Department for Arab Countries Affairs at the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development, Abdalla Khalil Al Musaibeh, said in a press statement that the delegation would revise during the visit loans of the Sudan’s debt in order to reach agreement over reschedule of the debt , follow up the current loans and look into future projects.
