Khartoum, Oct.12(SUNA)-The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Agar, met at his office in the Republican Palace today a UN delegation comprising UNEP, UNDP and UN.
The UNEP country director said in a press statement that he presented a briefing to the TSC member about the commencement of the Sustainable Peace Project in the Blue Nile State.
He added that the meeting tackled a number of the environment-related issues and challenges, noting that the TSC member affirmed his support to the project which covers three localities in the Blue Nile State.
.It is worth mentioning that the Sustainable Peace Project was funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
