Khartoum , Mar.16 (SUNA)- Spokesperson of Ministry of Finance and Ecnomic Planning Dr. Ahmed Al-sharif , on Tuseday denied all the news reports carried out on Social media concerning the 50% increase in fuel prices by the ministry.
He affirmed that the Ministry has nothing to do with the increase of the fuel prices, after Ministry’s withdrawal from fuel subsidy and unifying exchange rate.
The spokesman added that after fuel subsidy the Ministry of Energy became a supervisor of technical procedures to import fuel and set its prices with private sectors companies according to the international price, he denied the rumors on social media as unfounded .
