Khartoum, Sep.1(SUNA)-The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has condemned use of excessive force and shooting out at the armless students and called for bringing the perpetrators to justice and that the Ministry supports Zalengia University decision on shutting down the university for four days.
The Ministry regretted In a statement issued Tuesday the regrettable incidents of the Zalengai University , voicing support to the State’ step of imposing curfew for two weeks and forming committee to investigate circumstances of shooting out at students.
The Ministry extended warm condolence to family of the martyr student, Izz-Eddin Omer Moussa, and wished speedy recovery for the wounded students
It is to be noted that the incidents erupted after shooting out at a number of students of the University at UNAMID site which was earlier handed over to the Zalengai University.
