Khartoum, Oct. 3 (SUNA) – The United Kingdom (UK) Embassy to Sudan has announced that Mr. Giles Lever has been appointed as UK Ambassador to Sudan in succession to Mr. Irfan Siddiq.
Mr. Lever assumed his assignment in Khartoum today, Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Mr. Lever served earlier in a number of posts including deputy ambassador in Afghanistan and Her Majesty’s Ambassador in Vietnam.
He also served in Nigeria, Iraq and Japan.
