Khartoum, Sept. 19 (SUNA) – Minister of Cabinet Affairs Khalid Omer Yusuf has affirmed that the doors of the transitional government are open to support children cancer projects.
The minister was addressing the launching ceremony of the national campaign to rehabilitate the Tower of Hope for Children Cancer yesterday at Al Salam Hotel here.
He said that the project of Sudan Hope Organization regarding children with cancer is not a dream, but will be achieved in the near future.
The Executive Director of Sudan Hope Organization, Ms. Safaa Al-Asam, explained that the cost of engineering rehabilitation for the Tower of Hope for children with cancer amounts to $117,100, adding that the “Pillars 2” campaign aims to support children with cancer as children are the pillars of the society.
It is noteworthy that the launch of the campaign was attended by a number of society and art stars, led by singers Jamal Farfour, Montaser Hilaleh and Nancy Agag, who announced the launch of the initiative, in addition to artists Mayada Qamar El Din, Mamoun Sowar Al Dahab and Mohab Osman.
