Khartoum, May 30(SUNA)-The National Commission for Human Rights(NCHR) has welcomed the republican decree issued by the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen, Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan on lifting the state of emergency the country-wide.
The Commission also welcomed release of those who were detained according to the state of emergency law.
The NCHR expressed hope that the decision would include those detained on background of the demonstrations.
