Khartoum, May21 (SUNBA) – Arrangements were completed for launching the Joint Sudanese Egyptian Training Project (Protectors of the Nile) scheduled to be held in Sudan during May26-31.
The Egyptian troops participating in the military drills arrived in Khartoum Military Base, besides, convoys of ground forces and vehicles that arrived by sea.
The “Nile Protectors” military exercises come as an extension of the joint training cooperation between the two countries, and was preceded by the Nile Eagles 1 and 2, all of which aim to exchange military expertise, enhance cooperation and unify practical means todeal with the expected threats to the two countries.
