Khartoum, Sep.5(SUNA)- The United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS) will hold a two-day consultative technical meeting in Khartoum for the Permanent Ceasefire Committee which affiliates for the permanent ceasefire in Darfur and the final security arrangement for Juba Peace Agreement in Sudan
The meeting will look into ways of implementation of permanent ceasefire and its mechanisms and that the meeting would be attended by military and security officials and the peace agreement signatories in addition to the stake holders, the transitional governemnt the governor of the Darfur region , Walis of Darfur States , women protection network and other representatives of the civil society organizations.
The UNITAMS holds this first meeting in ists capacity as chair of the Ceasefire Committee which part of its efforts to support implementation of Juba Peace Agreement and the Sudan’s national priorities.
