Khartoum, June 30 (SUNA) – The Central Office formed by the Acting Attorney General, Mubarak Mahmud Osman to follow up the processions and demonstrations which organized today, Wednesday, in the capital and the different states has revealed that no fatalities or injuries were reported during the processions due to the detailed plan worked out by the Public Prosecution and the close coordination with the concerned circles.
The Central Office underlined that the Prosecution, in coordination with the police forces managed to arrest 73 persons under articles77 and 96 of the Criminal Law relating to riot and public disturbance.
The Attorney General has been watching, closely, the situations during the processions, lauding the peaceful manner and the responsibility of the protestors.
